One Six Nine is located on the seaside of the spit, just along from the Beach House Cafe and shop. It is few minutes walk from the ferry pier. On one side, the hut looks out to the sea and the Isle of Wight. The back door opens on to a lovely stretch of sand, perfect for building sandcastles or relaxing in the sun. Beyond another row of huts is Christchurch Harbour. It is a quiet part of the spit which adds to the feel of relaxation. One Six Nine has solar panel powered lighting, fridge and phone charger. There is a gas oven and hob. There is a full range of utensils and plenty of glasses and tableware. Double doors open out on to the beach at the front. A sofa bed folds out for two adults to sleep. There are two bunk beds, the lower one doubling up as a day bed. The hut has a Scandi cabin feel and despite not being a big as some, is well laid out and cosy. The hut has its own beach picnic table and barbecue. There are deck chairs, windbreaks and beach toys available. One Six Nine sleeps four and is ideal for a couple or a small family but sorry, no pets. There is a 3 night/day minimum stay.
